CHALLENGE PEGUERA MALLORCA 2022 IMAGE LINE

We now have the CHALLENGE PEGUERA MALLORCA 2022 IMAGE LINE. This design will be the one we use to make all the race materials: finisher t-shirt, finish line arch, finish line ribbon, presswall, online communications, etc.

We want to transmit our IDENTITY, that is to say: WE ARE MALLORCA, WE ARE PEGUERA, WE ARE CALVIÀ, WE ARE A SPECTACULAR TRIATHLON, WE ARE CHALLENGE FAMILY.

This year, to create the image we have been inspired by:

👉 1.- Mallorcan ‘llengües’ (tongues) fabric: these are fabrics that are made using the ‘IKAT’ technique and form simple geometric shapes. These designs have been part of Mallorcan culture since the 18th century, and are still used today, evolving at the pace of society.

👉 2.- The blue of the Mediterranean: we work with different shades of blue that represent the shades that you can see from our shores. Water, together with fire, are two of our hallmarks.

👉 3.- We recovered the ‘DIMONI’ (demon/devil): in 2017 we included a ‘Dimoni’ in our designs for the first time. In 2022 we recovered his figure to form part of the magic of the event. The ‘dimonis’ are one of the most spectacular cultural manifestations of Mallorca. They transmit legends, passion, fun, and above all they connect us with fire.

👉 4.- We are CHALLENGE FAMILY: we are proud to be part of an international family whose motto is #allaboutheathlete. We love being able to preserve our identity and, at the same time, be able to work with the quality standards of a great international brand to produce a unique event, the one we want – a global event with a local flavour.

👉 5.- Rock n’ Roll: our circuits, our public, our climate, our sea, are ROCK N’ ROLL. Unpredictable, fun, challenging, fast….like ‘Metallica ‘ in “Master of Puppets” at times. More like the ‘Scorpions’ in “Still Loving You” in other sections, and above all, fun like the ‘Foo Fighters’ in “Learn To Fly”.

For us it is crucial that you feel that you are running in a different event and in which our entire community is focused on you enjoying the best we have.
