The race takes place of October in Peguera (Mallorca). However, we will live the event throughout the previous week, for which we have planned many activities for you to live with your friends&family a unique experience. Challenge Peguera-Mallorca is a middle distance triathlon (1.9 km swim, 90 km bike and 21.1 km run). You can participate individually (Age Group, OPEN, PRO triathlete and Paratriathlete) or in a relay team.
Individual categories:
- Age Group: general category
- Paratriathlete: category for triathletes with physical disabilities
- PRO triathlete: requires a Challenge Family Pro Membership. If you are not a Challenge Family Pro Member, please contact the Challenge Family about becoming one.
Category for participating in group:
- Relay Team must have a minimum of 2 members; one member can compete in a maximum of 2 segments. Each member must indicate in which segment they want to compete (swim, bike, run). Relay teams may be all male relay teams, all female relay teams, or mixed relay teams.
If you have triathlon license and, therefore, are federated: you must show your valid license at the pick up of the race number.
If you don’t have triathlon license and, therefore, you are not federated: you must pay a insurance for a day. The fee for a day insurance is € 15. You should pay it during your registration. The insurance is individual, so in case of a relay team each member must purchase its own license.

The use of wetsuit in the race is conditional on the water temperature from Tora Beach 1 hour before the start of the race:
If the temperature is <16°C will be mandatory the use of wetsuite.
If the temperature is between 16°C and 24,5°C (inclusive) will be optional the use of wetsuit
If the temperature is >24,5°C will not be allowed to use of wetsuite.
Triathletes with 50 years old or more are allowed to participate with the wetsuit regardless of the water temperature.
Last editions the use of wetsuit was optional.

The bike check out will take place in the T1 and T2 zone (map), where you must show your wristband to the gate keeper (you will receipt your wristband on Register, when you go to pick up your Race number).
Exceptionally and, where justified, you will can register at 14th of October in the morning. To do this you must send us a formal request, which must be approved by the Race Director, explaining the reasons why you can not register in the schedule days. The practice of drafting is completely prohibited in Challenge Peguera-Mallorca.
